Jet Drive Unit Availability for Outboard Motors

Just a heads-up to customers considering purchasing a jet drive unit for either their existing outboard or a new outboard not available as a factory jet--the lead time for new jet drive units is now 6 months.  Yes, you read that right, 6 (as in SIX) months!

Evinrude, Honda and Yamaha all have factory jets available in 60/40, 90/60 and 150/105 configurations.  Yamaha also also has a 40/30 factory jet.  Any of these motors with factory jet drives are readily available.

However, if you're looking for a jet that falls outside those horsepower ratings, the first paragraph applies--if we don't have it in stock, it's a 6 month wait from the time of ordering.   

So if you're looking for a jet drive unit for an outboard that falls outside the "factory jet" range and wanting it for Spring 2020, well, do the math.   An order placed today will arrive by the end of April!!!
