Deep Water Release Requirement/New Product/Seaqualizer

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game released this requirement:  “Beginning in 2020, all vessels sport fishing in the saltwaters of Alaska must have a functioning deepwater release mechanism (DRM) on board, and all rockfish not harvested must be released at depth of capture, or at a depth of 100 feet.”

The Boat Shop is now stocking what we believe to be the best available DRM on the market–the Seaqualizer.  This nifty device can be set to release the fish at 100, 200 or 300 feet–without harming the fish (estimates are 97% of fish released this way go on to survive).
