New Boat Availability--the Early Bird Gets the Worm (or in this case, the boat!)

Aug. 27 2020 News By Dave, Boat Shop Sales

As we all know, this has been an absolutely crazy year in many ways. Remember when we couldn't get toilet paper, hand sanitizer, paper towels, or bottled water, and how frustrated you felt?

It appears we are headed for a similar scenario in the coming year when it comes to the availability of new boats and/or motors. 2020 has been a good year for the marine industry; however, as a result, the factories are running behind in production--many of them are just plain jammed up!

The information in this paragraph is based on our best guess and the information we've received from our factory representatives--it appears in 2021 we will be receiving about 50% of the amount of large(r) Alweld hulls we normally receive (and 30% of that 50% are already sold!), and at this point in time we are looking at a similar scenario when it comes to build slots for Kingfisher boats (1825 Falcon, 1875/2175 Extreme Shallows, Fastwaters, and Ocean Boat) for the entire year.

We have a large number of outboard motors on order for late winter delivery, and just found out those deliveries are now being pushed into springtime.

Bottom line, if you believe there is any possibility you will be pursuing a new boat/hull/motor in 2021, get your name in the hat now--don't let ANOTHER boating season pass you by! We are taking orders NOW. Call one of our professional sales staff and they can guide you through the process.
